Been doing some thinking.

This isn’t a buy…

This is a sell.

Think I’m gonna get rid of a LOT of hardware; keep most of my HK’s, but a lot of S&W’s are gonna go, as well as Sig’s, Colts…

Just realized that I’ve got a lot of stuff that I haven’t shot in, literally, decades, they just sit in the safe; and if I’m not going to appreciate them…they should go to someone who will.

I know the thread was probably made in jest, and the majority of the responses I had about myself having too many guns were made in jest, but I have the same situation as you. A lot I haven't used in decades and honestly won't use again. Time to clean house.

I figure…I sell about half of my collection, and get some stuff I REALLY want, and will shoot.

Sure, the first gen SAA in .44-40 is neat, but…I don’t even have AMMO for it. It’s just filled up a corner of the safe since I got it; got a good friend who’ll love it, and has already spoken for it (called him and said “You want it?” And his response was “Yes! Will you take my first born?”…negotiations ensued.).

A lot will be private (observing all state and federal laws, of course).

I’m looking at an auction for the rest.

At 77 know I won't be around for too many more years don't want my wife to have to deal with all my stuff. Ain't life a bitch?

They had the S&W M&P FPC on sale for $599. Not too bad. I was gonna grab it but Mrs. BassCliff just texted me to say she was on the way home. I wanted to be there when she arrived. That sale price is good until the 16th so I think I'll return for the purchase. Then I found a store coupon for a "flash sale" taking another $50 off the price. If I can make that deal I will definitely pick it up in the next couple days.

The flash sale price was $549. Today was the last day to use the coupon, hence the quick layaway. Maybe tomorrow after my gig I'll have time to pick it up. If not, then Tuesday.

Drat, looks like the Packers (my new hometown team) are not going to prevail over the Eagles.

Swapped a Hellcat for this CZ compact at a LGS. Bought the mag bag full of full size CZ mags loaded with 9mm ball. I left one on consignment and if it goes well, I'll look for a few more. Decided to prune some of the dust dwellers and be a bit more judicious on what to keep.

I picked up my layaway today, the S&W M&P FPC. My local sporting goods store, Dunham's, had a flash sale for $549. I couldn't pass it up. Even Grab-a-Gun doesn't sell them that cheap. I got it home and cleaned it up.

I installed a set of cheap polymer flip-up sights, until I decide on an optic, or get better iron sights.

Then I installed a new sticker on my gun cabinet.

I'm planning a range trip tomorrow, should be a blast!
