What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

A little while ago I ordered oodles of springs from Sprinco. There was an issue with their website and I couldn't get a shipping option so I emailed them and within 10 minutes Alan, a manager there or owner or something, called me and took my info over the phone and shipped my order out. I also had about a 15 minute conversation with him regarding extractors, ejectors and the virtues of putting some grease on your buffer springs, which I have never done since I was always under the impression grease on springs is a no no. Nice guy.

FYI, it's cheaper to buy from them than it is to buy from other vendors.

This is the guy I talked to and we talked about many of the things he talks about in this interview. So he is the owner and the "Godfather" of springs.

Well today was good all around......

200+ rounds of FN 58 M2AP loaded in Garand enbloc clips.

Two boxes of PMC Bronze 130 grain 38 Super FMJ

Three (1 each of various manufacturers) 38 Super 1911 magazines

An ANCIENT Scattergun Technologies Jumbo head safety for the Remington 870.

And the best of all, i put a Series 80 Colt 1911 in 38 Super on hold at one of my favorite local pawn/gun shops.

Picked up this kit to clean comp on Prodigy. The two brass scrapers as well as handle are all you need. One of the young bloods at range gave me a great tip on keeping comp clean of fouling deposit buildup. After you clean pistol and comp, saturate a patch with Slip 2000 EWL30 and pack the patch into comp before putting in safe. Makes clean up after a few hundred rounds an easy task.

The Dawson tooless guide rod and recoil spring I bought last week arrived, sure makes things easier.
