What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Well, my cat Jeff started having some issues yesterday. I thought it was a UTI. He kept trying to go pee but couldn't, was very uncomfortable and dribbling everywhere. His stomach was rock hard. Took him to the vet this morning at 6 AM. Turns out he was blocked up, probably due to a bladder infection. They got him for 3 days, had to put a catheter in and get him drained. Anyway, the estimate for the whole ordeal is about 2k. Looks like my expendable cash may be non existent for awhile. It's very not cool not having my little buddy here with me right now. The little baby Phoebe keeps looking around for him. It's a drag.

Basically this.

Bummer. I hope he responds well to treatment and gets home soon.

Best of luck. One reason I keep in good graces with my ex is that she works at a vet clinic and offers me her discounts on the cat she left me with (she took the dog....). Love his name BTW (Jeff is a great name for a cat:ROFLMAO:)

This vet is a friend of mine. Or should I say a new friend. I ingratiated him to me when I was installing a gas main in front of his facility and discovered his water service line was leaking and helped him fix it, saving him lots of money. He hooked me up with about 3 years worth of flea, tick and heart worm medicine. I'm hoping the estimate his tech gave me gets modified, but either way I'll pay it.

I bought this set of short brushes to make it easier to clean my NAA .22LR revolver.

A thousand rounds of 556 and a couple of magazines for the Echelon, Shield Plus and few more Glock mags. Prayers being sent your way BASSBOB for your friend Jeff the cat. Been there many times myself with the vets bills and like you I'd gladly pay anything to keep my friends

Good man. Done exactly the same for exactly the same reason a number of years ago and got another 8 years with our baby boy. Worth every penny. Praying for a speedy recovery for your buddy .

As far as spending myself, nothing, actually nothing in a week or so.

What occasion is warranting such sartorial splendor?😉
I had been primarily wearing Wrangler stretch jeans. The problem with those is that the pocket is made from a different material and doesn't stretch/return at the same rate the jeans do. The result is their is always a white line at the top of the pocket that's visible and my OCD couldn't take it any longer. Plus I ripped the ass out of my best range jeans doing "Drills from stupid positions and in stupid circumstances" training last week. :)

Here's hoping Jeff comes through this OK
