I think if there’s no broken parts it’s fine. Loose, play and slack are all inherent in lever actions in my opinion. You know, to a degree. If it seems unsafe to you though I think I’d have it checked out by a competent gunsmith before you shoot it.

This is a common complaint. For the life of me, I don't understand why Sig insists on using their customers as beta testers. I'd like to support their enterprise with a few purchases, but at this point they're either jam-O-matics or they're going off if you just sneeze the wrong way (P320). In the case of the latter, they refuse to admit their engineers fudged the fundamentals in the design, for fear that the P320 chickens will come home to roost....

I bought a sig m11-A1 9mm about 9 years ago and right out of the box it wouldn't shoot anything except RN ammo no HP ammo at all. Tryed all the mags and no difference.Feed ramp was all full of pits, ruff as hell. Called sig they sent me a label to send it back. Got a email from them and they said they shot it 60 times and it was fine.So I called them up and talked to some guy who was in charge of testing and asked him if he tested all the clips. He told me that I only sent 1. I told him bullchit i sent all 3 that i got with the gun.Got a email next day they found the other 2 clips and gun was on it's way back.Went to the range and SAme thing JAM JAM JAM.So i got out the dremel and some super fine compound and fixed it myself.I thought for sure they would put in a new barrel. A guy here at the range had a 320 and dropped it by accident in the dirt and it went OFF TWICE. Good thing he was down range at the targets. JMHO
Guess I was looking at the left outer edge middle of the ramp still looks rough. Yeah hard to believe they wouldn't just replace the barrel. Before CNC machined barrels with full ramps were common it was a tedious job throating & polishing 1911 barrels, did screw up a couple. Good luck.

Opposite for me. Other than the made up crap about the gun that supposedly fires itself I haven’t heard of many problems with Sig at all. On the other hand the 911, the Hellcat and the Prodigy have all had issues. As well as most of their 1911s.
Struggling with "the addiction" myself. And apparently just taking a membership at a range without a GS isn't the answer...
