This one is very cool, I like it
It's not black, so not scaryThis one is very cool, I like it
The Holosun is a good dot.I recently purchased a Springfield Echelon. The rebate going on right now includes a red dot, but it (CT-1500) doesn't get raving reviews, so I did some looking into a suitable replacement if it doesn't work out.
I found one I liked, priced it a few places, then was offered a discount in an "are you still interested" email. Add that to a 10% "bonus bucks" deal already. Ok, why not? Late last night I decided to buy it. The Echelon deserves something nicer than a free red dot anyway, right???
This morning I realized I never received a confirmation for the order. I checked to see if I had been charged, and that hadn't gone through either. I went back to the website and found it still in the cart, apparently I never completed the order?
Alrighty then. I re-did the order and when the time came to pay I got a credit card offer that gave me even more of a discount.
Long story short I ended up "saving" about $120. OK, a lot of that savings is in credit on a future purchase but it's not like I won't be spending the money anyway.
So a Holosun 507C ACSS should be waiting for me when I get back from the trip I'm on. I'm not sure what I'll do with the Crimson Trace red dot when it shows up now.
Hey, wait a minute, I'll bet there are other guns for sale out there that it would fit. I've got an idea...
I'm sure you were probably looking for that specific one, but I bought a rail mount carry handle for an M16 "Clone" build from PSA last year and I wanna say I paid about $75 for it. When I mounted it I didn't adjust anything and it was dead on.Decided the new AR needed something better than the RRA A4 rear sight I had on hand, and just ordered one of these...

Irony is the carry handle was nearly half what the rifle cost me..
Ain't bought nothing today.![]()
I wouldn't like it either. Sometimes these bigger shops get all full of themselves. The customers come in mostly all enthusiastic about buying stuff and they get to thinking they know more than you and they can treat you like a moron and you'll still patronize them. It reminds me of tattoo parlors. They get their fan boys and they start listening to them and believing they are the best thing since sliced bread.
I went to Dragonman's and bought a Glock 44 today.
I won't get it for three days but I paid today so I don't have to pay the stupid excise tax.
I'm very happy that Dragonman's daughters are so active fighting Colorado's increasingly restrictive gun laws but I really don't like the vibe I get when I go into the store.
I walked in and every employee in the store was eyeballing me from the minute I walked in.
I bought a box of range ammo and went to fire my Glock for the first time since my heart attack/torn rotator cuff.
I found out I can shoot with my right hand but it's kind of painful and I can shoot just fine with my left hand.
The place I normally go to wants you to check out when you leave.
So when I left Dragonman's I stopped at the shop and asked if I needed to check out.
They looked at me like I was nuts and Dragonman's daughter made the sign of the Cross over me and said "We release you. Go in Peace."
True story, if you want my business, don't treat me like an idiot.
dittoWelp..nothing again today.![]()
