Last October or November a local family had a son that was a member of the BA. He did his time (not sure how often the change pilots), but he enjoyed every minute. I've only been to 1 air show (mid '80s) and wish I've been to more!

The Lucky Jack Aubrey novels are right up there with Sharpe’s Rifles for great historical fiction; the movie adaptation was brilliant.
It’s a go-to movie for me; watch at least a couple times a year.
