When it comes down to it, what is your "go to" EDC?

At the moment this is in the Rotation with Sig 365.

I agree. The guns I mentioned are the same, but I have purchased multiples of the same gun. If it's something I really like, I might buy multiples of the same gun or variation of the same gun.

Me and @The Night Rider go back stemming from other forums. He enjoys finding something/anything to be argumentive or troll over whenever he sees me post. Don't take what he says too seriously when it's directed to me.

Have you ever noticed that when you say something along the lines of I have five VP9s people tend to look at you like you might have a screw loose, but when you say I’ve got 5 1911s they typically smile and say “Sweet”.

Tp be fair, I kind of was seriously asking that question.

I don't know how much of what I write you actually read but I've said multiple times on multiple forms that I am a minimalist and the older I get the more of a minimalist I become.

I don't collect guns like you do. I own less than 10. Rather than accumulate more guns I want to put that money into ammunition magazines accessories and the like.

For instance, if I already own an M&P Shield I'm not buying a Glock 26.

A Shield and a Glock aren't the same gun. At least not to me they aren't.

I understand even if I don't necessarily agree with your point about multiples being a waste, but that's coming purely from a what you need POV. If I was concerned simply with as much utilitarianism as possible from a survival/defensive POV I would agree with you. My interest in guns is more than that though, as are a lot of people's. Range, competition, just plain fun, collectability, etc...

I will say that since I got the Masada S and the VP9SK I haven't carried a Shield, which on at least one hand validates your point.

It was when i was young too, but that's been about 200 years ago it seems. lol but still wouldn't consider a 5.56 big but i was givin him a rough time for tellin that other feller he wasted his money buying the same gun more than once. but now i count 5 canteens in that picture. 5 now i ain't gonna tell anyone they got too many guns of the same when i have a slew of canteens all the same. besides i'll take 5 1911's 0r 5 VP9's over 5 canteens anyday. :ROFLMAO:

Five canteens is one and a quarter gallons of water.

5 glock 19s doesn't give you anything 1 Glock 19 and 4 magazines doesn't.

Maybe 5 glocks give someone peace of mind, placed throughout their home, safely of course. Maybe they lived thru a home invasion. Maybe, thry just want them. Maybe each is a bit different and they like them. I have a dozen watches, each does the same thing tells time. Each gets wrist time, and i really care less if someone else thinks its a waste, my money was spent and they make me smile. Hard to judge someone else's comfort levels or reasoning by our own sometimes. Every person is different.

BTW two Glocks give the Glock lover a backup should the first need a trip to the mothership so there's that.
