So does a 9mm, a .45 or a 12 gauge.True, but a .22 Mag or .380 gives you a reach out and touch someone from more than 5 feet
Yes, but a .357 snubbie does.Yes, but neither of those fit in my pocket.
Well duh….So does a 9mm, a .45 or a 12 gauge.
So you gonna carry a .22 from now on ? Or a pointy stick ?Well duh….
Point of the OP was a .22 mag, not a 9,.45 or shotgun
Mine shot fine, I had more problems with the rimfire cartridge not going boom. I found the Winchester rounds were more reliable than any of the CCI ammo at the time.Years ago I had a small "AMT 22 mag". Great "Jam-O-Matic". It in short time it broke, I sent it back to be repaired. I get it back and quickly traded it.
One thing, when you fired it, it was LOUD.
If you cannot trust your life with a firearm, you need to find one you can.

A 10.5oz .357 is…brutal, if you run actual magnum loads. My former 340PD (Scandium frame, titanium cylinder) was, without a doubt, the hardest to control, most punishing pistol recoil-wise that I’ve ever shot, running 125gr Gold Dot LE magnums. Accurate follow-ups took forever…I mean, over 1 second splits.Yes, but a .357 snubbie does.
When I had that Astra Terminator revolver in .44 mag, brutal was firing Hornady 300gr XTP full power loads in it…….A 10.5oz .357 is…brutal, if you run actual magnum loads. I switched to a 640 Pro; heavier, but controls magnum loads with no problems…but it’s also a lot heavier. I’ll probably be carrying it more now.
I had a 329Pd for about a week. One trip to the range convinced me that if I wanted that kind of pain it might be preferable to visit Mistress Fifi so I sold it.A 10.5oz .357 is…brutal, if you run actual magnum loads. Well, I know you and you are carrying a revolver probably right now. And it's not a .22 Mag.A 10.5oz .357 is…brutal, if you run actual magnum loads.
