mc operator slide can't be removed

When I bought it i talked to the original owner, it's not fitted and bought as a drop in. i had to buy the guild recoil rod from rowland website and it's in 2 pieces again. i didn't want to chance it with a 1 piece that isn't designed for a rowland conversion

mc operator slide can't be removed

ok you guys got me worried now to shoot this using the 460 barrel since it's not fitted. I don't want to do my new toy harm further. Let me go talk to Rowland 460 to get his feedback as well. Also I will go buy a one piece dawson or wilson recoil rod as either one is reputable. this will work...

mc operator slide can't be removed

Very appreciated for everybody's feedback here. So as we knew there was some metal piece blocking and like some stated it's normal for 1911 and needs to slam it forward. I took that into consideration and used a hammer to hit a small wood precisely behind the slide and it came right off.

mc operator slide can't be removed

yea i think so, i'll just send it to Springfield for them to take it apart for me then. I still can't believe nobody in youtube has this problem, youtube generally has everything imaginable as a solution. maybe once Springfield can find out the problem, I can post it.

This is my first firearm and it came with a Rowland 460. Yes the calibre is maybe too much for somebody new such as myself but I bought it already. This would be my first time disassembly to this and ran into this nightmare. I have removed the barrel bushing The barrel doesn't have a...

mc operator slide can't be removed

i tried, and i pulled the slide all the way back and try to slam it forward to remove the slide, no go. I'm so surprised nothing in youtube to show how to fix this. But what is it hitting internally with the metal pieces?

"Ok, try holding the gun after you got spring and slide stop out, with the slide on top, like you going to shoot it, sometimes the barrel will hang the slide up, especially on a new gun." while the slide is on top holding in my hand after slide stop is out, it won't move forward, but can move...

mc operator slide can't be removed

I'm a new owner of a MC Operator. I disassembled it by removing the recoil spring first, now the slide won't come off, and when I try, it's hitting metal like something is blocking it from moving forward to slide out. I can slide it all the way back only if it's not upside down. I also tried to...
