10mm vs .45 ACP for Self-Defense

Someone needs to call them and let them know it is the 21st century and there are newer rifles out by now.
For polar conditions, it’s hard to beat a bolt action for sheer reliability; particularly one that’s controlled-round feed, not push-feed.

I’ve got a Winchester M1917 that’ll run with most off the shelf bolt actions under $1k, easy. Much stronger action than a 700 or 110 to boot.

I can understand that. I have a modernized Springfield 03 rifle in 30/06 that my Father accurized. It is a nice shooting rifle. My Son has it currently.
