though……I always though Bushmaster was supposed to be a mid tier AR at least when they were first put on the market.
He forgot the "t",
I'm with you on the s/w ar15. I love mine as I'm a s/w fan. What i bought was a limited time buy of a viking tactics. This pic is off the web for reference.I have a S&W M&P and I have had zero issues with it, I would think it is where it belongs on the chart.
I see some have a different opinion.
I speeld itt though and thats wht I meand. So theer.
I did'n ferget the "t". I purpusly left it off.He forgot the "t",
I've never handled one so I don't have an objective opinion. I will say they are generally priced lower than what I paid for my last upper.I have a S&W M&P and I have had zero issues with it, I would think it is where it belongs on the chart.

To me, the barrel and the trigger are the most important parts. The name on the lower is less of a concern to me. So I have a Daniel Defense lightweight upper on a CMMG (they are just down the road from me) Lower and a Geissele trigger. As far as the lowers go if they are forged there is a small number of forges in the USA so most AR manufacturer's are buying from the same place. Billet is a different story but I wanted a lightweight rifle and billet is heavier. The actual differences in my opinion are mostly marketing.
DD bolt carrier groups are bad ass. And for the same reason BCM and SOLGW bolt carrier groups are bad ass. No batch testing.Bassbob, I stand corrected. Bolt carrier group is also important. That is why I bought a complete Daniel Defense upper, factory assembled and headspaced. If I miss, it is my fault!
