Why did all the Die Hard fans pick the bad guys' guns instead of Bruce Willis' Beretta 92?

Because the 92 was ... meh of a gun.. solid shooter .. big as king king . 92x maybe, or R. Still need gorilla hands to hold

I have nothing against the 92, but even as a kid I liked Danny Glover's revolver (S&W Model 19) better.

The gun mounts in Aliens were steadicam mounts.

Really...the Beretta 92 was pretty much the king of ‘80’s action movie guns.

Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, any John Woo movie...it was the hero gun.

Hard to name another single model that showed up as much.

Yes, back when we pre teens thought being as bulky as a body builder was the ultimate physique.

And you'd have to be a body builder to carry that thing around.
