Woke up to this, the coyote is right up my alley. I did see MSRP of 1,999, guess we will see if my LGS gets any in stock.

WOOOO HOOO Finally all the features I want in a very nice 1911 at a very reasonable price and finally the machine front strap 20 lpi checkering now there is very little that needs to be done to these new models to make an awesome carry gun.

i will be making my list, working my butt off and saving pennies to get the 5” stainless and the cool 4.25” coyote model

Older model from bout 5 years ago. Swapped out the two piece full length guide rod for GI with flat wire recoil spring bumped up a notch from Wilson. 10-8 plug. Perhaps the finest pistol I've owned. Chews up any ammo I've fed it including critical defense. Worth every penny.

You won't be sorry. Springfield makes fine 1911s in general.

Given that new TRPs have not exactly been easy to find for the last several years, the last thing I was expecting was that Springfield would be re-vamping and expanding the TRP lineup, but this is great news. I love my TRP and a bobtailed "Carry Contour" model, at 28oz. definitely has my interest.

I’m sort of drawn to the classic commander with Hi Soring and bushing. I mentioned I wish SA would offer a Garrison in a Commander package but this has all the stuff and nothing more to

Truthfully, for nearly 2K a 1911 wouldn’t even make my list. Well, maybe the SAS II UL
optic ready.
