How many believe there is something out there

My story: About 25 years ago I was sitting in camp on a nice summer night. Just kinda kicked back admiring the beautiful night sky away from the lights of the city. I noticed a small white dot slowly making its way across the sky. Too high to be an airplane. I figured it must be a satellite. Anyway I'm just sittin' there chillin' and leisurely watching this dot creep across the sky. Suddenly, that thing did a 90 degree turn and disappeared like a shot! 😱
I'm not going to say it was a UFO. I have no idea what it might have been. But its something I'll never forget.

Unless you could identify it it was a UFO.

I was out hunting once, looked up and saw something big, black and bipedal crest and go over a hill. Seen a ton of bears in my day, it did not look like one. Ran up the hill and it was gone. Soon as I crested the hill there was a scream that set my hair on end. I went the other way. Bigfoot? Who knows I was not interested in going any further to find out, even with my .44 straped to my chest, which for the first time seemed rather inadequate.
 
One evening out hunting sitting watching a field. Soon I see a big bright flame looking oblong thing. As I watched a small fireball looking thing came out of it, I assume, maybe off it, circled it twice as they both moved and went back in. Definitely a UFO as it was nothing I could identify...

Im a doubter.
I don't believe in UFO's. Bigfoot. Ghost. Zombies. Aliens Or anything else i can't see.

Now to say we have people here that could be those.
There are folks with excess hair and myself included that could be bigfoots.
Goth people look like zombies and ghost at least some of them do.
Many and i mean many of these weird looking folks could pass as someone from another world.
So maybe these things are real and we live with then everyday.. but it sure seems like they get more numerous every year.

I agree some things you have to see to believe. I have seen a few things I cannot explain, does that mean there is bigfoot and extraterrestrials, nope it means I dont know what they were. It also means I am a helluva lot more open to the ideas than I was before. .

It would have to be something as a warp drive or even like the navigators in Dune because if Einstein's work on relativity holds true, then as you approach the speed of light, your length goes to zero and your mass goes to infinity (ouch!).

I think it’s the height of hubris to think we’re the only life in the universe. And there was definitely no deity involved in any of it.

But, I doubt that we’ve had contact with alien life; first off, space is big. Like, really really, mind-bogglingly BIG. Additionally…there’s an almost infinite number of worlds out there. The odds of some extraterrestrial civilization stumbling across us is just…it’s like winning ALL the lotteries at once low (probably lower than that).

Add in the Great Filter theory—that must civilizations will destroy themselves before they get the technology to visit other worlds…the odds are not in our favor.

So, while I don’t think we’re the only “intelligent” life out there…we aren’t going to be meeting anyone else anything soon.
