Post your Saturday night jams ... or your fav music ...

- Thanks for not mentioning which week, month or year.

(Am finally catching up on some of those disappearing lost days.) :)

Wow! BobM you've brought up more old memories regarding music I might have liked way back when Anni was just a pup...... You know, way before he got really old! ;) (y) All I can say for sure is that when in high school and before I went into the service, I was pretty much RnR and even a little bit of Folk/Folk Rock. Dylan, Joplin, CCR, Doors, some Beatles, a limited amount of Kingston Trio and some Association, etc. Never got into the heavy metal stuff at all. Then while in the service I began to mellow I guess and started converting to country/country rock.

By the time of my discharge I was pretty much a converted country fan all the way liking stuff like Jimmi Rogers, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Marty Robbins, et al. Then progressed to the Merle Haggards, the George Jones, and similar. Some/most of the newer comers calling themselves 'country' don't quite fit the bill as far as I'm concerned ..... Eric Church for example. OK, good but not country.

After I was married, it was all country all the time, and still much the same today. It is kind of an eye opener though to go back and remember some of the good stuff from way back when ..... regardless of genre. Thanks for the trip!👍👍👍

You're more than welcome. Hopefully all good ones! Thanks!

I mainly try to go with the flow with a bit of variety thrown in.
Growing up, maybe, maybe not, house was always full of a cornucopia of music.
I eventually remember most music. For me, one jogs up another one. Especially the older tunes.

- He may be just in training with permit? :)

Old and new, are tons of good music out there.
Wish only had one or two favorites sometimes.
Good or not, my vinyl record collection reflects my taste.
Sometimes wish it was smaller, most times am glad it isn't.

One haven't heard on here yet:

Just remembered another one I really did like. I'd listen to him most anytime he played...... Ray Charles !!! Not many any better than him regardless of genre!!! (y) (y) (y) Damn, remember when he did "Georgia"? What that rendition didn't do for you just didn't need doin'.!!!

Haven’t heard that song in a good minute. Although the video I remember going to that song was a lot more elaborate then the one you posted.

The song is an oldie but goodie.
No doubt on your memory, you're very likely correct.
I used to collect records. Not so much anymore. There's many versions or "covers" to this old song by many groups / bands. Newer, older, shorter and longer styles and tempo's too. Have usually heard in faster tempo than this one. Sometimes song length or time is regulated by DJ or manufacturer to fill slots as well as word editing.
DJ's can also regulate speed faster, slower, minutely or obviously as well as reverse song. Get's "wild" at times.

Then, especially different versions with older songs when regional differences can occur. Like west coast or east coast editions. Imported or exported versions of same song and same performer can vary too.
