it's scary that i too see bullet holes at the start of the range table, in the ceiling, where the target carrier is waiting for us to put on a target..I never took a class in my life, don't know why. they are probably fun. I just like shooting on my own or with maybe a couple others. A whole room full of strangers with guns ain't for me. i see all those holes in the ceilings and walls at those indoor ranges. some idiot had to put them there.
Bic razors are disposable..??No. That said, class is not for everyone at any rate.
And I can afford classes, just not as many as some people. At the same time some of those people shave with disposable Bic razors. So which one of us has class ?
I was mainly talking about your sidekick.Did someone say class?

That's funny about the Kimber and Ronin.I was looking at kimbers and found the Ronin at a good price first,,,,,,, as for the M&P I am using it because it is what I have and it weighs about 17 ounces loaded,,,,, it is my current summer carry, it hides well under a T-shirt
I also am a big 1911 fan, I bought the first one about 40 years ago, they come and they go some were good some were not,,,,,,, it's like everything else you buy used, it's a crap shoot sometimes you buy someone elses problem,,,,,,,, this Ronin when it comes to reloads no more than 4 rounds until it jams,,, but with new ammo it is flawlessThat's funny about the Kimber and Ronin.
I understand about the M&P. I have only ever had one, the Shield, and I liked it enough. I have looked at the 22 a number of times but never got one.
I actually bought the 1911 22 because I sold my Ruger SR22 to someone who really wanted it. And I am a big 1911 fa so it was a no brainer.
regarding the reloads, i wonder if it's the OAL that might be causing this?...(as well as the crimp??)I also am a big 1911 fan, I bought the first one about 40 years ago, they come and they go some were good some were not,,,,,,, it's like everything else you buy used, it's a crap shoot sometimes you buy someone elses problem,,,,,,,, this Ronin when it comes to reloads no more than 4 rounds until it jams,,, but with new ammo it is flawless
I don't reload, these are factory reloads so as to why they won't cycle in the Ronin,I will never know,, I just buy factory new and the heck with itregarding the reloads, i wonder if it's the OAL that might be causing this?...(as well as the crimp??)
i have a CZ 97 B, and of course, that is not a 1911, but it does shoot 45 ACP.
if i follow the OAL measurements by the book(s), that gun will not shoot them.
if i set the bullet close to factory measurements, they shoot great.
as such i did have a few issues with the reloads jamming in a couple of my 1911's a time or two.
once i set that bullet depth to near factory OAL, those 1911's shoot reloads great too.
i even noticed this "jamming" issue with reloaded 9mm's in my CZ 75 B, just would not shoot them, jammed every time.
and that was store bought reloads..same issue with my reloads, when i set them to specs by the books.
once i set the bullets depth to near factory..??
no more issues with reloads in my 9mm CZ's.
So, late to the party, but…I bought a new Springfield Ronin in 9mm and took it out and tried it out,,,,,,,,,,, now 10 or so years ago I could shoot the lights out but I had a long layoff from shooting,,, I was having trouble hitting a steel 8 inch plate at 10 yards,, that is pretty bad and Ammo is still a little high,,,,,,, so I am doing my prcticing with a M&P Compact 22lr about 400rds thru the M&P and I am doing a good bit better I can put them all on the 8inch plate again with the Ronin,,,, I will keep after it I have a chit load of 22LR,, I won't be happy until I can put them all on that plate at 25 yards
they "may not" be cycling for the reasons i have mentioned.I don't reload, these are factory reloads so as to why they won't cycle in the Ronin,I will never know,, I just buy factory new and the heck with it
