Hogs came in at my 3 o clock position about 50 yards.
As soon as I reached for my gun the lead stopped, snorted and they all hauled a$$.
Wind was howling 15-20+ mph was 9 o clock to 3 o clock and they winded my instantly.

Been a tough day for hunting

3rd times a charm tomorrow morning

My buds and I are all taking our daughters and friends out for a ladies only night hunt on the piggies …
Gals are stoked to go lay down the law… and show them boys they know their stuff … cant wait ..

I had the same issue with a 1,500# horse! Too far away from the barn and fence and he was a lot faster than me! So I held my ground, clinched my butt cheeks and got ready for pain.

Luckily he turned when we were nose to nose and headed for the barn. The smell of alfalfa triggered the whole incident.
