Send it back to Springfield, but call them, don’t do email, most gun shops don’t take back guns, none in my area do, Springfield will correct it and it costs you nothing, they pay shipping both ways.Super bummed and wish I had found this before buying the 1911 Prodigy. Cleaned it and went to the range only to find it doesn't load. Took it apart then did another thorough cleaning just to have the same issue. I will clean and try the other magazine but it's very frustrating to spend $1600 for a gun you can't depend on. I guess it's going back on Tuesday and I hope that money is not lost. This seems to be a well known issue, I don't understand why they don't fix it.
