That's kinda how we all felt when striker guns first hit the scene. I resisted for a long, long time.

These days striker triggers can be pretty good. Especially considering you're carrying a gun with no external safeties.

Well I have part of the Mcarbo upgrade complete. I installed the striker and safety spring upgrade. I took it to the range for 100 rounds. I could pretty much stop here with the install process, and be happy.

The trigger and sear spring upgrade may have to wait until next week.

Comparing with a Glock gen 1 the imrovement is huge. I have no complaints about the triggers on my XDMs, for example

Mine is ok with me, once you get used to it, it’s fine, I’m not picky on triggers and such, as long as it goes bang is all I am concerned about, but yea, lots do change them

Yeah I'm trying to decide on a replacement trigger for my Hellcat Pro right now.

I installed the Apex trigger on my Hellcat and it is incredible. All the grittiness of the old trigger is gone. Just shoots extremely well. Since my gunsmith was off I decided to do it myself.
I have the safety on the Hellcat....PROTIP here ...disassemble in a BAG. The safety spring and U hook tend to jump off. Luckily my daughter's cat found it on the floor.

Yeah I just couldn't stand the factory triggers in mine. Changed them all out to Apex; not a night and day improvement but an improvement for sure. Wish they had triggers like the Echelon.

Agree. I've already replaced the stock triggers in my other Hellcats with Apex and also now with my Pro.

I'm having my gunsmith change the stock Hellcat pro trigger to the Apex trigger. I hate the stock trigger. Kept shooting low/left due to the resistance of the trigger. Shot about 550 rounds and just couldn't get over that trigger. Hope the Apex trigger fixes that issue.
