What are you doing right now??

It's not a hard install, but it will be a month or more before I'm physically able to crawl under the truck to do it. Just going through my mind about who I know mechanically inclined enough to do the job.
i know what you said and meant.

at my age if i could still do an oil change i would.

but for me to lay on my back, one of two things will happen...

1) i will get frustrated, working, laying on my back, with no real leverage.

2) i will just take a nap, since i am already laying down.

At work....

wife and i just made up like 1.5 pounds of hamburger and Manwich.. for good ole sloppy Joes.....the little ones will be coming over later, so thier parents can have a "date night"...

i guess i gotta stay off those "adult" websites later......dammit.

they are staying overnight as well.....

which means i'll be sleeping in the recliner, and waking up in the morning with "Hunchback of Notre Dame Syndrome"....

they never sleep in the spare bedroom, they say it's "too spooky" in there.

Is that why you won't sleep in there? LOL

since the little ones are soon to arrive, my wife dug up some old pictures, to show them how gramps had hair on his head...

this was a company that i worked for that had a terminal off I-70 in Medway, Oh.

I LOVED this truck..it was my first "hood" truck, over the years of getting battered driving a "cab-over"

once Victory assigned me this truck, i wouldn't let go of it...

anyone living near the Medway (Clark County, Bethel Township) North of Fairborn, South of New Carlisle, would have seen these trucks, at least back in the late 1980's thru the mid 1990's....and all along I-70, Zanesville, Huber Heights, etc, etc.

as i recall, the first 2 numbers indicated the year.....91

this was parked behind a fire station near me, when i was on hometime.

i really miss that particular job, but i was on the GM dedicated dispatch board, and had to stay up there servicing the GM plants, and the vendors. i'd be gone like 2-3 months at a time. great customers, treated very well.....but it took its toll on the family. had to leave.

Cut the lawn out back before it got dark. Had to wait most of the day for the grass to dry after another frosty night last night and got rid of last tomato and pepper plants. Growing season gone until next year. Thinking about putting some holiday items in backyard. Just putting up--not lighting them up until after Thanksgiving.

Had a fun Wild Bunch match today with awesome weather. Stopped at Native for beer, wings and college football. Went to leave and had a completely flat tire. I just bought 4 about a month ago. Put the spare on and ran over to Discount Tire and had them fix and swap the tires. Then to Cal Ranch to see about a coat for the wife. I let her look and went over to the gun counter. Whoops! I got the new S&W Bodyguard 2.0. That thing is light and has a nice filling grip. Finally got home around 5. Score........ UFC! Gun is registered, dog got her biscuits, Momma got a new coat and I'm in my chair.
