Would love to go to the gravel pit but it is way too cold to go shooting right now. Once this month ends it will get warmer and i'm going to wear out my trigger finger.

I don't know about you folks, but I'm getting a bone spur on my trigger finger. I get a blister there after a long day.

good thing (for me) i shoot indoors...its been windy here the past couple of weeks or so.

even the most slightest of breezes drive down the temps even more on these old bones.

I’d much rather shoot in 7 degree weather than on an indoor range. Especially a public one.

i agree...my state, thru the "pitman" act? has a beautiful outdoor FREE range, as long as we apply for a permit (free as well), good for 5 years.

i only been there times, since i applied back in 2022

however, it is like 45-50 minutes from my house, and i am into the "covid shortages" frame of mind, and i only take 1, maybe 2 boxes of ammo.

i found the travel time, to be a bit much now at my age, as well as "emergency bathrooms available" to be an issue as well.....

and noooo...i don't mean..."squirt the dirt" type of stops........
