Just got home from town. When I got to work today it was 22 degrees. When I left the plant to head to the range it had fallen to 14 with a windchill of -3 . To be expected though I suppose, it is still January, after all.

I feel your pain. Got down to 50 here today.

My red dot sight came back today. They replaced the original one with one that shuts off in 10 minutes. It's mounted now, but need to sight it in. I like their warranty (Vortex). It's been a great birthday month.

Got back from base commissary, took car to car wash today--kind of cold to wash in driveway and it really needed one. Just came back from a walk with my buddy. She said high to all the neighbors. Might read this afternoon or take a nap, we'll see.

i just woke up from mine, when i started yawning like a mad man at 12 pm..

kinda sucks to wake up to the sunshine and 20 degree temps, with a wind.....god only knows the wind chill factor.

Sitting here pi$$ed off about UPS. Just about everything I order from Amazon is shipped via UPS but goes to my local USPS and takes two to three days to get it. Had two orders that went out for delivery at 7:25AM this morning. Just got email saying they won't be here till Monday or Tuesday. I get very good service from FedX. I'm a grouchy old fart and this crap ticks me off. I've vented, feel a little bit better.

It's your local USPS. They are the worst. My experience with UPS has always been very good. Fed Ex on the other hand, well, let's just say the guy that wrote that song " Fed Ex Smashes Guitars" wasn't wrong.
