Getting ready to haul our butts to the VA for PT time.
Planning a special day. Going to pick up a dozen roses first thing. Then brunch with Mrs Greener at a Brazilian steakhouse. It is our 44th anniversary, 45 years together. She has grown accustomed to me. Her patience and tolerance it epic.
A fine fishfry gunHi,
I'm loading up my gear for an afternoon gig. Then maybe I'll take Mrs. BassCliff out for some Friday fish fry. Have a blessed weekend.

Bet that meet was very interesting. Don't have a number but unfortunately can't be many of them still with us.Hi,
I just got back from my gig. I met a 101 year old veteran who was on the beach at Normandy on D-Day. He was still an impressive figure. I thanked him profusely. He was very humble. God bless America.
Thank you for your indulgence,

I think just a couple hundred I heard.Bet that meet was very interesting. Don't have a number but unfortunately can't be many of them still with us.
Yeah it's sad but that's life. Would imagine Vietnam vets are mostly in their 70's. I do believe WW2 vets and our society during that period were indeed part of the Greatest Generation. Have my doubts we will ever see another great generation.I think just a couple hundred I heard.
How do you rate it?
It's a bit simplistic. How do you rate it?
There may be another 'great' generation by definition, but it'll for sure be based on definitions other than the current one!!!! And that's really sad!!!Yeah it's sad but that's life. Would imagine Vietnam vets are mostly in their 70's. I do believe WW2 vets and our society during that period were indeed part of the Greatest Generation. Have my doubts we will ever see another great generation.
