Getting all hyped up! Si-Fi channel has a couple of Purge movies I have not seen, anarchy and Forever. Binge time and reminds me to check on the stash of ammo and guns. But damn, I need more,more, more, you hear!

Just got done reorganizing a couple of my safes. It's a job I have been putting off, but it's done now and I have room for a few I have incoming. Namely a BPS, a BAR and an old cherished Fox break action double.

Getting ready to take Maggie for her walk. Sun just starting to rise and want to get it done before it gets too hot today. Looks like another 90's day. Really hoping fall gets here soon.

Enjoying my weekend coffee while I wait for the sun to come up and burn off the morning dew. Then it's mowing and weed eating time for the next 5-6hours. I'll be packing my new S&W Governor for the first time. Loaded up with some small game loads, as that was all I could find at Academy. Hope it will work well against rattlesnakes. And yes, I will be open carrying! Clutch your beads! Don't fret, I live out in the country, I'm staying on my own land, and the only people that will see me are my wife, dogs, and any rattle snakes I come across. I had thought about mounting some kind of scabbard to my zero-turn mower to carry a shotgun, but I don't think there is any way to make it work out well and be able to use it. So, it's the Governor in a chest holster for the day.

Thank you. It was a beautiful night for a fire, just a tad breezy. The photos don't do the night sky justice. The moon made for some incredible sights though..

Just got off the phone with my sister in FL. My dad was having a rare lucid moment, so she called me to have a chat with him. HE REMEMBERED ME!!!
I know it’s not going to last, but it really did my heart good to hear his voice.
