Bummer about no harvest.Heading back home. No deer for me this year, but it’s always good to get together with the other hunters for the potlucks and bonfires at the cabin. The DNR got their $35 donation again this year, my turn next year
I always felt that I did not appreciate how stressed and tightly wound I was until I sat in a tree stand in the peaceful woods and relaxed. And fell asleep. I am sure I missed seeing some big trophy deer that came to my plot to investigate the snoring. Loved the peace and quiet. But then, you can't eat that......Heading back home.
