What are you doing right now??

the "Sears" repairman just came to install the felt gasket around the dryer's drum.

rather quick job of it, as a trainee was with him.

we just gotta wait like 4 hours for the glue to set up till we can use the dryer.

but that'll be like later this week for us.

he's been a repairman for many years, told me "not much changed inside the machines", other than the electronics boards, which are costly.

i'll keep my 2 old dinosaurs for a wee bit longer

Coffee and breakfast. Thinking about the errands I need to do today. One is going to body shop to see when wifes car can be brought in for repair. Still trying to find doctor to look at my kidney issue. Nobody seems to care.
To bad you don’t live close to Ohio, OSU Wexner medical urological dept is tops, they are the ones who diagnosed and did my surgery, I highly recommend them.

Trying on a 💩load of new clothes from 5.11 and Duluth trading co.
Upgraded my wardrobe from raggety old, stained cargo pants and shirts at the wife’s demand 😁

I actually went to Nephrology office right next to local hospital. I was originally told 5-6 months to get appointment. So I walked in and went to receptionist and asked her to schedule an appointment whenever. A doctor just happened to be walking by and seen my combat Infantry badge on my hat bill. He asked me if I was a veteran and I said yes. At that point he told the people to check me in and he would see me right away. Good thing I had paperwork from base on me. I was floored! Spent 2 hours checking me out and said I was in great shape. He did order some tests to get done next week but told me in his opinion I had nothing to worry about. I couldn't believe this happened to me. I thanked him and he told me I was to be thanked for serving my country in the infantry. He also was an Army medical doctor at one time. Just couldn't believe it. I guess I went there on the right time on the right day. I feel so much better to know that I have nothing serious wrong with me according to my labs but it never hurts to get all checked out. At least I won't be worrying about this during the holiday. Feels like a ton has been lifted off my soldiers. Guess I received a christmas miracle!

I am so happy to hear this. I was actually thinking "Christmas miracle" just before I read the last part of your post. Merry Christmas to you and yours...relax and enjoy!
