It's supposed to be range day for me too. Except yesterday I get called to the hospital. Turns out my brother in law started having heart attacks Monday and refused to go to the hospital until yesterday. He thought it was a stomach thing, but in reality it was his kidneys and liver trying to shut down from lack of blood. If he would have been 6 hours later getting to the hospital he would be dead. As it is his heart is pretty much done. They need 55% to do an external heart pump. His is working at 5%. They have some new thing that's like a catheter shoved in there unloading the right side. They say you can use them for 14 days. They transferred him to Barnes Jewish last night. His options aren't looking too good.
 
well...LA-DEE-FRICKIN-DAH

as i was about to leave the house at 8:30, my first floor renter told me the water was backing up in the tub.

so i poured a lot of ZEP liquid cleaner, then went to the bank to make a payment.

came home., and no change...i tried the plunger......not much of a change

went down to the basement.......water on the floor.......OH MY GOD......

its either a clogged drain backing up, or a cracked PVC pipe, as that's what the 1st floor drain pipes are...

put in a call to the plumber, he's on vacay, on a golf course, and i had to send him a text, for him to forward to his men...

now i await.............

and it ain't like i had nuffin to do today, after my "listless day" yesterday.

ain't life grand....???

i just hope, this doesn't cost me a "grand".......

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope he comes through it okay. That is so hard on everyone in the family. 😞

well plumbers worker came here around 1:30 or so....

we went to the basement where he can see the piping.

he opened up the clean-out, and saw a plug....

ran the water, and he could see where it came from the bathroom sink

the plug was about the size of a soda can..he said...

it took years to do this, the last time we had to have that 1st floor drain cleaned for plugging was like in the 1990's..???

no hair, most likely a time build up of shaven beard hairs, and soap.......(even though it IS PVC piping..!!)

my previous plumber said, soap over time will stop the drains, even this guy said yes, that happens.

so maybe now at my age, the next time it plugs up..??

i'll be in heaven (or HELL) and the new owners can have headaches, assaches, earaches, and walletaches.......

Well I fixed the gate reflector cover pretty quick so then I went over to the pistol range. Not so good with the pistol today though. I was a little skaky today and my targets were blurry. Hmm ... I'm betting it was my old eyes. 😉 Anyway, that's why I like pistols with mags that hold a lot of bullets. 😂

The wind didn't help either blowing my targets off multiple times. 🙄
