What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Hi,

I have a Garrison 1911 in .45. Love it! The 9mm version is just so easy to shoot, that's what makes it tempting. I don't need as many guns as some people. I just want one of each.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Have several striker fired 9mm pistols and two Sigs P-229 & P-226 Legions. My primary carry pistol is the SA Echelon have around a thousand rounds through it no malfunctions and more accurate than I am. Also have three 1911's (45acp's) that I don't carry but love to shoot. Promise I wont give you a hard time if you get a 1911 in 9mm. I'm not wealthy by any means
took me several years to acquire my meager collection.

Been a while since I visited this thread. Yesterday I put down a cool $260 on Alpine Multicam tactical gear to go with my winter loadout - the foundation of it being a Raptor Tactical Ghost Mk2 plate carrier. I found another outlet, Beez Combat Systems, has far superior customer service and pattern choices than Optics Planet. The stuff on the left is what I ordered, it will be alpine like my plate carrier (right).

I should be getting this in about 2 weeks, just in time for my B-day.

my optic arrived via fedex 2 days early so its one now,
post pics later, took me right at 45 minutes and got it all sighted in with the boresight
range day monday HUT
Glad you got it earlier than expected. The Sig optic I sent back for repair/replacement was supposed to arrive today. Got an e-mail this morning saying it will be here on the 23rd. We'll see.

Dawson tooless guide rod and matching recoil spring kit for new Prodigy comp 5". The gun shoots amazingly.
I would pay big money to not have to remove optic and plate, clean screws and holes and re mount everything at 1 or 2 hundred rounds. Springfields AOS system is seriously flawed. I am thinking a TIG tac may be required to keep plate tight on slide. Any suggestions?

Wow, hope it doesn't come to that.

I have tried no loc tite, blue loc tite, vibra tite vc 3. Cleaned screws and holeS to perfection with both Acetone, as well as MEK. On the original prodigy I sent gun an plate to mother ship and had them mount it, lasted 75 rounds of WWB 115fmj before it plate came loose. How is you Operator AOS performing?
Shot about 150 rounds last range trip. No screws came loose wish you had the same luck. It sounds like you are really liking the new Prodigy. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.
