Damn…if they’re taking Ronin off MAX, I will have to watch that this weekend also. I’ve seen it once and remember it being a very good movie.Watched the Denzel Washington movie Flight. Very much enjoyed it for a number of reasons.
Then I saw the Barbie movie. Wasn't what I expected, but then, I wasn't sure what to expect. Thought it was very entertaining--it's a scathing sendup of modern America on a number of levels, several of which I thought were hilarious; others, not so much. I probably won't watch it again, but I'm not sorry I spent the time to watch it once.
Oh, I watched Ronin again (sixth or seventh time? I've lost count) and enjoyed it even more, the mark of an EXCELLENT movie. I hope to see it again before it goes off MAX at the end of the month. Also watched Blood and Gold for the second time. Didn't enjoy it quite as much the second time, but still enjoyed it quite a lot and will probably watch it again at some point.
Watched Joe Kidd (which I hadn't seen in at least 40 years) and liked that too. Also saw Gran Torino for at least the third or fourth time and enjoyed that a lot again, too. That's a really excellent movie.

They are doing a season 3, but I read that will be the last.Finished Good Omens 2. Enjoyed it a lot. Hope they do a 3.
Every season of Fargo is a completely self-contained story; no carryover plots or characters. DO jump ahead and enjoy Season 5.Do going back to Fargo season one was great can I skip to season 5 without missing anything because were saying 1 was great do was 5 but not in between
Every time I watch it, I catch more and more details and fine plot points. There's not a wasted minute or boring scene in the whole thing. It's a masterpiece.Damn…if they’re taking Ronin off MAX, I will have to watch that this weekend also. I’ve seen it once and remember it being a very good movie.
Forgot to mention, I also watched A Man Called Otto on Netflix for the third time. It's basically a kinder, gentler version of Gran Torino, with Tom Hanks playing the Clint Eastwood role in a completely different way. It's pretty "politically correct" but they don't slap you in the face with outrageous wokeitude; the story is very gentle and entertaining but makes its points. There's nothing to hate here. I HIGHLY recommend it.Gran Torino was a great movie

It's not "47 Ronin," it's just Ronin, if we're talking about the same thing.Watched '47 Ronin' last night. I originally thought that I had watched it years ago but after watching it last night and nothing being familiar, I must have been mistaken....unless I'm benefiting from old age forgetfulness.
Good movie non the less!
I think ronin is with Robert deniro and 47 ronin is with Keanu reeves I think if I not mistakenIt's not "47 Ronin," it's just Ronin, if we're talking about the same thing.
I just started watching it again. Gotta get in one more viewing before the end of the month. Who knows when I'll get to see it again?
