The P99 Final Edition is on my short list. I was going to get the Final Edition since it's also in my fav color, but the price kept me away. I may see if I can get a used one in the future.

My EDC is my Echelon, and my backup is the Mc9.

I was a huge PDP guy. I've had quite a few of them over the last few years. I really thought the PDP was great until I shot the Echelon. Now all my PDP's are gone and the Echelons have taken their place.

I don't think gun oil evaporates. I also use Lucas oil and I have noticed a few dry rails and parts, but I attribute that to storing my guns with the barrels pointed down and the oil naturally drains out. I just relube my guns before the range and have no issues.

ALL firearm manufacturers (including the all-vaunted Glock) have issued a faulty firearm (or more) at least once in their manufacturing lifetimes. It happens. Send the firearm back to Springfield or don't, it's up to you. But don't get on a firearms forum and gripe about a gun without letting...

I'm leaning more towards the Sharps Bros. Even though it doesn't have the full dust cover, it is designed to work with both the full size and the upcoming compact Echelons. I also like the interchangeable grip panels. The Icarus is interesting, I've looked at their other grip modules and...

I have owb holsters also and carry under a loose shirt most of the time. The holster I use now is a slightly modified 1791 leather holster which is very comfortable and sits tight to my body.

My edc is my Echelon. I don't carry with the optic though, it's too bulky with it.

Yes, it should be the standard slide/barrel with the sight moved back and ported.

There's quite a bit available now and that's a good thing since the gun has only been out a year. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out here in the near future. I'll have to check out Icarus Precision, Thanks!!!

Btw, for anyone that might be interested... Sharps Bros is coming out with an aluminum frame for the Echelon.
