A day in the life of an EDC knife.

EDC knife, Ontario Rat 1, has been my EDC knife for years.

And yes, I have used it to cut and eat cheesecake with.
Was visiting my brother for his birthday in Willcox, AZ last August. Forgot to pick up a fork or spoon when I stopped and bought it on the way back to the motel. Sadly, he passed from brain cancer last January

I'm a Benchmade fan. More so than Microtech although I do love my UTX-85. I think I have 9 Benchmades between the fixed blades, folders, spring assisted and autos.

Another exciting day in the life of an Edc knife. Making a door cover for the snow globe. Everything but this door has removable storms I made m, this door is only screen. It was the very last thing dad made when we were msk8ng the snowglobe together so it stays untouched. An old mattress pad will work just fine again this year... it has to hang free for entrance and egress and keep out the majority of the wind when we sit out in it this winter.

I know it's not very exciting but being that I work on a military base that has very strict rules on weapons and knives, this is what I carry every day at work. And I probably pull it out of my pocket and use it 10 times a day at the least. And base security does have random stops at the gates going on and off base a lot. It is a federal offense if you are caught with a weapon or illegal knife. And immediate termination from your job. I don't take the chance with any firearm or knife. I don't like it, but that's just the way it is. My work EDC knife. And it is extremely handy. At least work provides me with new blades for it! lol

Very effective for what I use it for. A lot of posters on this thread are probably blowing their top about how I can't take out sentries with it or cut the throats of polar bears with it. I use what I'm allowed to use.
