Do You Even Plink Bro......

Watched a big boar take 7 5.56 rounds to the neck, shoulders and vitals area and keep on trucking. Son missed the head shot a smidge too far back and got the neck. I would not want to be standing in a field with a .22 is all I’m saying .

.22 is bad ass round.
On hogs it would make me real neevous 😲
No hogs up here in NH to know what you're talking about but I've definitely hit a squirrel before with 7 rounds of 5.56 and the dang thing kept charging and almost took my head off!

Who said I was standing in a field I was sitting in a ladder stand 21 feet off the ground 60 feet from the feeder. They can keep trucking with .223 hits to the body but still no farther than 60 yards. I was making headshots with a .22 LR in the daytime Size of the Boar is no matter it's shot placement to a vital area the largest sow I killed last year was day time 45 yards from my ladder stand she was 465 lbs and one single 40-grain CCI Velociter Hp placed 1/4 " below her ear and she hit the ground dead as a stone kicking her rear leg a few times.I let her lay and her piglets came back and I got 4 of the six of them a half-hour later it took a backhoe to lift her so we took her to weigh her on a cotton scale. The next month out I took a boar 575 lbs with a .223 to the head 1/4 " behind its ear a 50 yards eating sour corn mash mixture. The size or caliber of the firearm or size of the animal doesn't matter its shot placement into a vital area and the brain is the best vital area.

Anyone shoot 22lr Remington golden bullets? I've got 200 rounds I haven't tried yet because their appearance reminds me of the Thunderbolts that lead fouled my pistol real bad.

don't see many of these anymore.... Browning Buckmark Varmiter. Toss up between this and my Contender with 14" match grade barrel on accuracy. I have taken ground hogs at over a 100yds with the Buckmark
That's some real nice equipment you have there! I'm a big fan of CZ products.
