No hogs up here in NH to know what you're talking about but I've definitely hit a squirrel before with 7 rounds of 5.56 and the dang thing kept charging and almost took my head off!Watched a big boar take 7 5.56 rounds to the neck, shoulders and vitals area and keep on trucking. Son missed the head shot a smidge too far back and got the neck. I would not want to be standing in a field with a .22 is all I’m saying .

Who said I was standing in a field I was sitting in a ladder stand 21 feet off the ground 60 feet from the feeder.They can keep trucking with .223 hits to the body but still no farther than 60 yards. The squirrels in my area identify as wild hogs!That's one tough squirrel.
That SK 22 match ammo is pretty expensive for .22lr at 18cents a round It must be good stuff.
