i'll have to re-qualify for my ccw, sometime in February, cuz it's due in June...given the backlog many have mentioned on a site i frequent, the PD want it renewed at least 90 days before the time.

so, i took my Dan Wesson Pointman 45 and got the target that is required....Army L target

you only get 30 shots to make in 30 minutes.

25 yards down range

must score at least 195 (low end) or up to a perfect 300.

standing, no bench rest

4 years ago, i scored 252....with my Dan Wesson Heritage

today, first target.......144

second target....219

so of course a wee bit more practice, and of course, that day of the actual qualification, Dan Wesson Heritage once again.

yeah, those particular targets are quite large.

i'd need to hang them on the side of my house, rather than a basement wall, to take the pics....of my actual targets.

i wasn't too happy with my results, but then too, i only just started practicing at the 25 yard distance.
