In a World of Compacts, Is it Bad my EDC is a Full Size?

I am little. If I carried one of my 1911s I would look like I had a growth, and I'd stick out like a sore thumb. I can carry a 4 barrel, and I do in the winter. I'll carry a full sized 45 in the bush up north, but in the summer I have a couple of subcompacts that will do the job if it needs doing. Typically I will carry the largest pistol I can, depending on the weather, the environment...and my mood. ;)

I worked with some folks of smaller stature who looked like a gun wearing a person. They learned to dress around the gun, and were badasses. My guess is you are a badass. With a mood gun.😁

And you don't think they can ?
Oh I know they can, what I am saying is
- I can keep up
- most folks cant run a sub 2 second draw cause they dont practice.

Everyone preaches all sorts of stuff, but a CCW holder first training should be to get their draw down fast.. speed counts

@HayesGreener is absolutely correct. It takes time practice and more practice, BUT, those who even are a slight bit rusty are going to be way faster than those who dont practice or very rarely

Well you got some practicing to do if you wanna catch up with Simon. I hear. :ROFLMAO:

Special Warfare Tier 1 units will often go to the range every day when in garrison and even when deployed if they can. Most of us will never have the range time or ammo budget to develop skills to that level, but have to work to build the skills we can
I've spent time working out with some of those types and you aren't lying. The ammo they go through in a week would last most of us a couple months at least. I do put a lot of time in with pistols ( for a civilian) and consider myself adequately prepared for any situation I might find myself in, but those guys excel at making me look stupid, slow and lazy. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
