The cowards don't have the intestinal fortitude. thus they go kill kids and people they know won't shoot back except the cops. If you wanna off yourself, fine. do it at home.don't go shoot a bunch of innocent people and make the cops do it.. They are too big a coward to pull the trigger on themselves.

From the pictures of the guns I have seen, she had the pistol, a .223/5.56 and a 9mm PCC. It appears she was using the PCC as her primary weapon.

In my opinion, when society revers, normalizes and encourages illogical, deviant, narcissistic behavior, they give those people a justification and license to act this way. We cannot continue to allow people to roam free in the real world who are attempting to live out their fantasies.

When I grew up, suicide was a big thing in the ‘80s. In fact my school district made National News for the peer pressure, teen life and suicides .

Its horrible to think life is so bad you have to commit suicide. At least then, they just took their own life.
Now, everyone wants their fame and take out others with them .

Their needs to be a change in mental health access in America, not take away guns

i agree, and i too told her about the people with mental health issues, and NOT seeking help.

christ, we send billions of dollars to other countries, we spend millions of dollars on crap that really is a waste, but how much is spent on actual mental health care...???

I worked in mental health hospitals and clinics in Texas and Arkansas.

People with mental illnesses come in all shapes and sizes. Many times they are able to hide their illness from their family by not being around them or appearing to be ok.

Most of the mental patients I dealt with just wanted somebody to listen. Somebody who would accept them for how they were. Many times I saw patients make huge improvements with the right therapy and therapist.
 
The mental health system in America is so broken. Example. My partner and I a few weeks ago had a woman in her early 20's strip naked and proceed to defecate and smear it all over her entire body like Rambo camouflage paint. We had her committed to a mental health facility and this happened at approximately 9 am. Around 2 pm my partner called me and the SAME person was already out and walking around. Apparently a lot of these people know what to say and how to say it to the counselors to convince them they're okay. I guess our sworn affidavits to the facts of how we found her and what we seen and observed didn't carry too much weight. We in LE see this way too many times, people who are totally out there only to be seen by medical staff and just as quickly being released back out into society. Just my two cents.

Yup. Seems some smaller jurisdictions are still or were recently on the old standard school active-shooter protocol to ‘set up perimeter, wait for backup, only a coordinated team allowed to enter‘ directive.
The audio of this incident was chilling.

The intake triage makes it known to the ”altered state client” has full rights to refuse medical health assistance and are free to walk away. Citizens don’t know this as much as no bond for violent criminal acts.
Claiming mental illness is often used excuse as a way out of jail…since forever.
 
In our "active shooting trainings" which myself and the Captain conduct every few months my "guys" are trained there is NO hesitation whatsoever we GO IN as we arrive NO WAITING they are all trained grab your rifle, shotgun, and small go bag w extra ammo and medical stuff and GO IN. Plus all my guys after the training are given walk throughs so they know every door every stairwell every room and every potential hiding spot and blind spots. Plus we invite the neighboring depts. to attend and the other depts. are given actual maps aka layouts of the schools in the event of an incident they can at least get some intel at least to the layouts. Just my two cents...
