School shooting in Nashville

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/na...een-radical-trans-group-says#&_intcmp=fnhpbt3 And here we go. Didn't take long for them to claim they are "victims" and "feel" like they have "no other choice", due to all the "hate and lack of acceptance". Didn't take long at all.
They ( and the media) conveniently have it both ways. If it would have been a Christian killing trans kids we know who's fault it would be. Other way round, yep still your fault.
These dumbasses keep taking over the narrative every time, desperately trying to ban scary rifles. As if there was any chance in hell anyone would turn in their ARs or register them.

This like all the other shootings is an absolutely horrible thing and having JB lie to just push his agenda doesn’t make it any better for the families struggling to understand why this keeps happening and their loved ones aren’t coming home.
Instead of talking about the failure of our mental health system he spouts his lies and untruths to do nothing more than cause more pain.
His script writers and handlers must cringe every time he opens his mouth.

I don’t think they cringe…. They’re in on the plan.

The ones pulling his strings don't need him to think. This is all by design, he doesn't have the mental capacity to know any better. As long as he gets his chocolate chip ice cream, he is good. He is a pathological liar.

I know politicians will do their best to use the tragedy to their advantage. I hate that they are so crass.

I really feel sorry for the victim’s families, the NMPD officers who had to take someone’s life yesterday, and the friends and family of the poor mixed up young woman who did this. Nobody won except “gun control” politicians. Sad, sad.

The mental health system in America is so broken. Example. My partner and I a few weeks ago had a woman in her early 20's strip naked and proceed to defecate and smear it all over her entire body like Rambo camouflage paint. We had her committed to a mental health facility and this happened at approximately 9 am. Around 2 pm my partner called me and the SAME person was already out and walking around. Apparently a lot of these people know what to say and how to say it to the counselors to convince them they're okay. I guess our sworn affidavits to the facts of how we found her and what we seen and observed didn't carry too much weight. We in LE see this way too many times, people who are totally out there only to be seen by medical staff and just as quickly being released back out into society. Just my two cents.
Yes sir. Thank you for what you and your fellow officers do.

Another factor is that many times there are no beds available in a mental health facility for numerous reasons. I worked in an ER that had a mental ward as part of the hospital. Most times that mental ward was at capacity. When law enforcement or paramedics brought a potential mental patient in, it was sometimes frustrating all around because of the lack of mental help space.

I agree with the other post about mental patients knowing how to play the system to get out sooner then they should have been released.

I dealt with a regular mental health patient that would get off her medications and have an episode. She liked me and was never violent around me. I'd sit with her and try to keep her calm. She was very strong physically. I got called almost every time they were bringing her in. And once she got stabilized she was great. But she could be a handful.

I was on the "code rush"(mental health patient emergency) at the hospital. I frequently had to go to the mental ward or part of the hospital to help control a violent patient. It was never boring working there.

So the side door the shooter entered by shooting her way in was monitored by a camera. I wonder if anybody watches those cameras? If schools had security this would not be as easy to accomplish. They say gun control. I say bull. You can break windows with many things and kill or injure with many things. Stop spending money on Illegals and foreign country’s and SECURE OUR SCHOOLS.

MOD- I’ve already deleted 4 posts.

STOP WITH THE VITRIOLICS

Human beings are human beings. Wishing someone harm because of their mental health status or what ever is a no go on this forum.
I'm waiting for the media to make her the victim.
First I want to thank you Okie, so…….
Thank you.

TXB I won’t let you wait for the media….

Let me say first that this is nothing against the law enforcement that acted appropriately and with expertise and professionalism. They did what they had to do to stop the carnage and Nashville should be extremely proud of them.

That being said what happened on Monday morning was a tragedy similar to the to many tragedies that have happened so many times.
6 innocent lives were lost that day, but 7 tragedies happened that day as the 7th tragedy was the shooter. She is a victim of society and how people with mental illnesses are treated and cared for.

Are we all not children of god?

The biggest tragedy that is happening because of what happened on Monday is those in charge are using this to push an agenda using lies and untruths.

Society needs to do better at accepting those that don’t fall into a stereotypical way they believe they should act or be. We are all different and instead of ridiculing someone for being different we need to stop and listen, I learned early on in my management career that sometimes it’s best to stop talking and listen.

My opinion.
