Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Now that you've done it and seen how easy it is, you won't need a tag a long manual. now if you have other problems that don't include the BCG like something in the lower or anything other than simple field stripping, you won't have the tools to do it anyway
Actually, I probably might have them in the truck.

But at that point I think I'd be smart and pack it up and shoot something else

Thanks… I thought I meant much more 😞

Spare me.

It would be uncool of me to announce how I think YOU must be feeling about YOURself.

It didn't occur to me I'd need a manual to break down a simple rifle like an AR-15 until I tried to replace the firing pin.

I like to have a manual with me when I go shooting in the woods. Old habit. I always have been like that since i had to quit shooting because the pistol quit working and i was a half-hour from a paved road.. I've been like that for decades. Even before i had my Commodore64.

Even now some places don't have cell coverage

I await your clever helpful response.

Not really.

Yet you continue to prove my point. No cell service.... Download it to your phone as a PDF prior. No cell service required. It's saved to the phone and can be accessed anytime. NOT helping your case. Quit while you are behind.

When I first bought an AR, I bought a fully assembled rifle even though people were encouraging me to just build one. I knew nothing about them. At some point soon after I completely disassembled it ( not the barrel or upper receiver). I never bought a fully assembled rifle again after that.

Do you REALLY think you're proving your point over and over and over ?

This is a discussion forum, but I guess a narcisstic person would think it's an argument forum.

Keep proving your point. I'll keep showing you're closed-minded if I continue to listen to you prove your point over and over and over over and over and over

Have a GREAT day...

Yep. Exactly. This is my first black rifle. The plan is to fool around with it and leave it at this house and
then build one to use when we're in the other place.

And yet you have this around…..😮😮
I was in the LGS the other day and he handed me a small pistol that the slide was covered in gold glitter. i don't even know what brand it was. i ask who in the heck is this for. somebody special ordered it. i handed it back and had glitter all over my hands. It wasn't a HI point or i would have tried to buy it. 😁

To answer your initial question, I generally have a firearm in a vice or laying on a pad on my bench.

LOL, now you've done it....even my bench mat has more better print quality than the hard copy I could get from Springfield:

I'm sure the humor-impaired will tell me what I'm doing wrong and that the new way is better.

LOL

Yeah, i’ll tell you why are you complaining about a manual when you have one sitting under you in bold print ???
You're the expert. Do I need to explain the difference between a Glock pistol and a Springfield rifle ?

Or were you just grasping at a reason to argue ?

Geez, killer. It's humor. Some people on a discussion forum will argue about everything.
I give up.

Carry on. And on and on...
