What are you doing right now??

Visiting the seaside town of Sheringham, England. Enjoying fish and chips - which for those who have never been to a proper fish and chip shop (read: In England) one actually gets to choose one’s type of fish. I had skate (ray) and chips while Mrs SimonRL enjoyed the traditional Cod and chips. All was washed down with a fine cup of tea.

Just snuck on out of the country without telling me huh.

still working on closing in old mezzanine and in preparing to go through the steel wall into the main house bedroom
found today behind a wall i did not build or wire, that the guy that ran about 30% of the wiring in conduit, decided the green ground wire could safely terminate at the metal box into the steel framing
so now i must tie a ground along with the new stuff out through the wall to the ceiling lights

Wow. I hope and pray things get back to normal soon. I spent my childhood in the South and have attended quite a few hurricane parties. Camille was the most famous. (Yes, that was quite a while ago. I'm old. ;) ) Blessings to you and yours, and your neighbors.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Those skies look like the ones we saw on our Alaska cruise, all but for a couple of days. I had fish and chips in Juneau. Hope you're having a fantastic time!

funny thing this morning is killed power to everything in the junction box
went down to the switches and pulled the covers, was dicking around unscrewing wires etc then i felt the tingle in my arm, hmmm i had a LIVE one in the box on a dead switch
thank goodness i have a high resistance to ground, rubber shoes, rubber mat and just my finger.
found the power source and then re ran all new wires and conduit down to the switches, still need to put new ones in...but i have a list to go get a lowes so i will wait until i have a basket full
one problem solved, so now i have one more line to re-route and than cut the HOLE
