What are you doing right now??

i had to have 3 hammer toes straightened out a few years ago, good thing, it was the left foot, so i could at least drive.

but i had to wear a solid wooden soled boot for a while.

then of course the LOOONG pins in each toe...doctor wrapped up my foot real good, so the ends of those pins would not get "bumped", sending me into outer space with pains.

i hope your numbness is not due to a mashed (herniated) disk or 2..

yeah, been there done that too.

how about carpal tunnel....anyone needing that done too..???

let me tell you about THAT...!!!!!
You've had about as much as I have. My numbness is from a cervical epidural hematoma.

Happy New Year everyone. Having my first cup of the year with pancakes this morning. Maggie did great last night. The pills did knock her out and she is still a little out of it. Lots of fireworks and someone did shoot off guns but was caught by police. They did warn not to do that since a few years ago someone was hit and killed by stray bullet. We live in a city not in the woods.

The fireworks started not long ago. Both dogs are in the house now. Aunt Bee is a little frightened, but the real show won't come until a little later and then will last most of the night. We usually don't let the dogs out in the morning until daylight, because they like to bark at things in the morning and we don't want them disturbing the neighbors. My wife suggested we let them out about 4am tomorrow morning to bark their hearts out! lol
Hope everything went ok last night and you got the dogs out early this morning. Too bad if the neighbors get disturbed.

Our little dog was scared from the fireworks and never did jump on the bed. She slept on the floor. Our lab and shepherd (former dogs) were also scared of loud bangs. The lab tried digging in the closet to find shelter once and the shepherd was found in the bathtub peeking around the curtain. It took awhile to find the latter and searched the whole house.

surprisingly, when the wife and i were at our sons house, very little fireworks were being shot off.

even when we got home, just after midnight, it was quiet.

rains musta came well after 2 AM here.

that's ok though, come mid to late June, fireworks nightly........

Finished reading my Cowboy Chronicle from SASS and most of the stories I cared about online. I got up about 3 am and wondered whether I should make a racket to payback those folks shooting off fireworks last night. I decided that would be wrong. Had some coffee with IC and started my news routine instead. I wonder sometimes if I'm becoming a curmudgeon and thought as long as I don't make a career out of it I'm fine. My birthday is this coming in a few weeks so I'm gonna make it a birthday month and enjoy that for all its worth. Please continue your Daffy Zone posts, you guys really crack me up.

i left the house at 9 AM, to take one of my daughter-in-laws, to find a doctors office she needs to go to, in about 2 weeks.

my son said he'd take her, but i wanted a "private chat" with her...and my wife is still "steamed" at me for taking down the tiny xmass tree early, so i needed an escape plan for today.

i knew the area, well my son not so much but he would have found it by way of Dunkin' Donuts, Micky D's, and car/truck dealerships, along the way

i go the most direct route, every time.

cool office, it has an upper and lower parking garage.

i got back a few minutes ago, now having a guava danish, and a hot tea.

if you ain't never had a guava fruit, like me, its all Greek to me, it's a tropical fruit, tasting like strawberries and pears...quite tasty.

my b'day is in January, in a few weeks too, and i am a curmudgeon, and damned proud of it too.

we older guys earned our curmudgeoness, and no one has a right to take it away....i think its in the 47th Amendment.

we are here all week, and most of what we say or do is free as well...
