What are you doing right now??

Got the husband tucked in upstairs, and I'm finally sitting down sipping on a cup of herbal tea. Turns out I have a double sinus infection (never had one before) and the doc put me on amoxicillin...so herbal tea is as fancy as it gets around here for a while. Rain let up for now but the wind is up about 35. I'm binge watching Game of Thrones, for lack of anything better for now. Gonna be an early night as I have to take him in to the VA Center for a follow up and his first PT. He's doing good so far, getting up and doing laps up there with his walker. I have a feeling, though, that I will be off work for a while longer than I thought. We'll see.

My wife just returned from her dermatologist, had two Basal Carcinoma growths removed. Due to insurance restrictions only two per week can be removed. Right now we don't know exactly how many of these growths will have to be removed. My Sweetie is a real trooper doesn't complain about her medical issues or anything else for that matter. I'm the big 'ol baby, complain about all my aches & pains.

I will keep her (and you) in my thoughts, hoping they get everything and she makes a full recovery. She sounds like a strong lady. :)

Me...I just tucked the husband back into bed after the VA PT session and surgical follow up. Everything looks good to them (yay!). Now I'm just blowing up the Daffy Zone and scrolling through the forum, but I feel a nap coming on.

Thanks Belladonna. I'm feeling the need for a nap but have a brisket on the Traeger. Real glad your husband is doing better. Hope you're taking care of you too.

Looking at Comp-Tex International holster-anyone know about it? Highest rated competition holster, like the low-cut front so I don't have to draw up to my head. Comes with 3 mounting options. Getting out the piggy bank to save up. Concerned about how far away from body it is as I need to cross-draw as I'm sitting in w/c. Any thoughts. Getting out the dog's Thunder Vests and Adaptil spray re storm again predicted. Praying for healing for all.
