They "rebooted" Quantum Leap a couple seasons ago. If you're watching Scott Bakula, that's the original. I have no idea who stars in the reboot, I didn't bother to watch it.What the hell new?
Apparently the only one, the original

yeah, i am a believer in original tv shows, and movies, even in car names....They "rebooted" Quantum Leap a couple seasons ago. If you're watching Scott Bakula, that's the original. I have no idea who stars in the reboot, I didn't bother to watch it.
I do like watching older movies that were shot on location... Dirty Harry films are especially good time capsules of the 70's and early 80's on film. Real cars, people and skylines. I'll watch Miami Vice just to see Miami as it was when I lived there, the place has changed so much since I moved away.yeah, i am a believer in original tv shows, and movies, even in car names....
like the Ford Maverick WAS a car...NOT a pick up truck, and the MUSTANG the only really true MUSTANG that IS a 2 door coupe, NOT a 4 door electric SUV.....
keep things original dammit...damn them all to HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL............!!!!!!!!!!!
i LOVE that movie, and not for Bill Murray, but for Scarlett JohanssonI saw Lost in Translation the other day--had never seen it before. Quirky little movie--you'll either like it or think you just wasted two hours of your life. I liked it.
Started watching Love Actually, which I've also never seen before, but keep hearing about. Apparently, it's some sort of classic. Wasn't expecting much, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised. Fun to see Rick Grimes as another character.
Also started watching Fargo Season 5. I'm in the middle of the third episode so far. Surprisingly good! Snakeworthy!
Two of Clint's very best.Outlaw Josey Wales & Pale Rider
One of my Duty Stations was near where they filmed the majority of Pale Rider. Two of Clint's very best.
If you have Netflix, be sure to watch Blood and Gold. It's pretty much a straight-up Spaghetti Western/Clint Eastwood love letter set in WWII. Some decent gun stuff in it, too.
Meanwhile, I finally finished Love Actually. I now see why people rave about it--it's fantastic!
Yea I never watched that reacher on Amazon he is a big guy . I was thinking about starting on season one today myselfJust got off a 12 hour overnight, and I’m too caffeinated to sleep…
And I see the new season of “Reacher” has dropped on Amazon.
Think I need to go get a fancy coffee (I really, really do like peppermint mochas), pour a little booze in it, and get to watching.
(Reacher—the Amazon version, not the Tom Cruise drek—is, I’ve found, one of those rare shows where the screen version is vastly superior to the books; I found Child’s story ideas to be good, but his writing style just turns me off. The shows take his plot ideas and do a much better job of telling the story.
And Roscoe in the first season is HAWT.)
Agree all around except I did like all the books. The Cruise movies aren’t even close.Just got off a 12 hour overnight, and I’m too caffeinated to sleep…
