Words or Phrases From Your Part of America

Thanks. Learned something new. Never heard that before.
Kinda used as "Sorry" or "Oops" too. Or to indicate you didn't mean to do whatever you just did as well.

It's a great word. Not as great as ennui, which is the best word, but still pretty damn killer ( see what I did there ?)

I also regularly call women "Chicks", though that may be an age thing. Book, as in I gotta book, or bail ( Leave) or if you're moving fast you're "Bookin".

Think those are universal. I heard all of those today. Just imagine if I'd have left the house. :ROFLMAO:
Universal yes, but here in the garden state all of those are coupled with some sort of hand gesture. Could be the finger, double finger, the one where you drag your fingers up your neck and off your chin, the single open hand raised to eye level (double hand used for added anger).

This is most eastern part of the state, or “Down East”. Central and mountain folks have a different dialect.
“Dingbatter” = a yankee
“slickcam” = when water looks like glass
Water= is pronounced wardur.
“Pizer” = front porch
