I think you might be right. Just heard in an update she is taking a "the buck stops here" attitude. Maybe she won't last the week.I’m guessing she gets canned in the next couple days.

this "diverse" BS needs to stopRemember when we tried to attract more “best qualified” candidates?
Secret Service director interview explains A LOT: 'We need to attract diverse candidates' | Blaze Media
If there’s one thing we know about the failed assassination attempt against Donald Trump, it’s that the Secret Service did not appear up to the challenge in footage of the incident. In a recently resurfaced clip of the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, it becomes increasingly...www.theblaze.com
You’d think that would have really encouraged them to cover that roof…WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) -
The United States received intelligence from a human source in recent weeks about an Iranian plot to try to assassinate former President Donald Trump, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing people briefed on the matter.
CNN reported that there was no indication that the 20-year-old suspect in the shooting of Trump on Saturday was connected to the plot.
The U.S. Secret Service and the Trump campaign were made aware of the plot before Saturday's rally, a CNN reporter posted on X, citing a U.S. national security official.
There is a bigger elephant in the room. Yes we should hire the best Canadate but the other issue is agencies have watered down trainjng to such a minimum standard they are setting their staff up for failure. Even some that should be and do get hired are set up for failure. I’ve said ghis before we see multiple examples of poor performance on body cameras every week!this "diverse" BS needs to stop
it should always be, "the best qualified-experienced",........ not...... "who can we hire to make us look good on paper to satisfy equal opportunity data"
too many greatly qualified people since as far back as i can remember were passed over, in favor of "data"
if you ain't got the education, or experience, or brains, talent, then why the fook do you think you deserve that job..????
well then by golly, someone call J. Edgar Hoover...and i mean right now.>!!!!!!There is a bigger elephant in the room. Trump’s SS detail was subsequently increased at that point. Hmmm.WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) -

Well, it was good enough for the shooter.Secret Service Kimberly Cheatle has come forward with her first interview since the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, blaming a sloped roof as the reason to try to secure the building from the inside.
'That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,' she told ABC News in an interview Tuesday.
Meanwhile the Secret Service snipers were here: On a sloped roof!
Secret Service boss cites hazard of putting agent on 'sloped roof'
Embattled Secret Service head Kimberly Cheatle said in an interview the 'buck stops' with her, and said a decision was made not to post an agent on a 'sloped roof' that a shooter used to fire on Trump.www.dailymail.co.uk
If I was still at my old agency I'd demand to see the sourcing and the analysis. It has become so schizophrenic on Iran. POTUS 44 and the current guy wants to deal with them, but they don't hesitate to use the Persians as a boogeyman. And when you have proof of their bad intentions for decades we treat them with kid gloves.Trump’s SS detail was subsequently increased at that point. Hmmm.
