What are you doing right now??

i gotta do laundry, (washing now in fact), gotta clean the bird bath, gotta prep a piece of replacement wood for a porch facia (??) repair, hopefully this weekend...i'm gonna prime, then paint, then cut to fit when i get up that rickety old ladder, to remove the old piece, then measure this repair patch.

hopefully, if i do this prep work now, i'll only have to climb that ladder maybe 2 times total.

then maybe fall off only 4 times......

Sitting in the parking lot at my plant. It’s my Friday, no forced OT today. It’s been a 💩show for the past two weeks, but today I’m at the corner of “I don’t care” and I’m done. Have a good day y’all! 😎
i am not sure of how you mean a shite show........if you mean super busy? then that's good, (to me) showing that much construction or remodeling is getting done this year....putting people to work.

if you mean to say, machinery breaking down, people not showing up for work, or other problematic things, then i feel for you.

Well, just remembered that Saturday night WWE Summer slam will be on, I know wrestling is staged, but I have been watching it since I was 8 years old…..😵‍💫😵‍💫
Haystack Calhoun was the guy I remember from the '60's. His outfit was bib overalls and he came to the ring with a horseshoe around his neck. He was a very large dude with a beard and had no muscle tone. Another guy I recall from back then was Kenny Jay, the losingest wrestler anywhere. Every time I watched him, he lost. Occasionally they reported he won a match, but I never saw it.

actually, waiting for the drier to stop, and brewing 17 cups of hot coffee, in a 12 cup decanter for iced coffee......

the trick here, is to have another vessel at the ready to remove the brewing one, and replacing it with the empty one.

i finished cleaning/priming the "wood patch piece" for that repair this weekend.

wife has the rescue company on speed dial, daughters are calling me saying thier husbands will be over, my sons are screaming at me for wanting to climb a rickety old ladder...

my master plan has worked.......someone will do the job for me.......... :ROFLMAO:

while i watch, eating the new batch of walmart gooey fudge brownies i bought this morning........:p

NO therapy today. The one specialist Doctor called me screaming yesterday said I'm over doing it going every day but I told him I just wanna get better tired of sitting around. His reply was over doing may make you take a few steps back instead of forward so contemplating what he said while I drink my coffee.

Slow and steady wins the race. I know it’s frustrating, but it’s better than doing more damage. I do hope your progress goes steady with no plateaus. Take care!

NO, NO, don't tell me pro raslin' is fake! I just won't believe that .... what about The Hulkster, or Stone Cold, or Goldberg, or, or, or ... No, they're not fake. I just won't believe it. LOL! LOL!

Just funnin' with ya' a little there Anni. Those guys are great at what they do, and it's a hard way to make a living. I haven't been into raslin' in a lot of years but at one time I was a confirmed believer. Eddie Graham, American Dream, Cowboy Bob Ellis, The Harts, The Von Erichs, Scott Hall, Great Malinko, Vince McMahon, etc, etc. Oh yeh, at one time I was a big fan.
man that takes me back..... Andre the giant, jake the snake, yes the harts! and so many.....anyone remember the later guys like KingKong Bundy.....good times

Doing meters. Just took a call from my wife. She watched a feral cat come out from under my deck, snatch a squirrel and drag it back under the deck. To say she was irate is an understatement. So I gotta get off after 8 today and go get some stuff to block off under the deck until I can get the stairs up and block it off proper. And as much as I hate to and have avoided it so far, I guess I’m gonna have to start shooting cats. 😪

Hi,

I was fixin' to start to think about getting ready to prepare to knock on doors this afternoon but it's started raining. I'll make a plan anyway and go if it stops. If not, I'll have a plan ready for tomorrow.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Don't worry about falling Old_Me, the fall doesn't hurt ... it's the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!! ;):D

Oh yeh, I remember Haystack Calhoun and his over-alls/horse shoe. I even remember the Kentuckians, two guys who both looked like Haystack and were about his size. But as far as the most losing rasler, I thought that was Micky Sharp. A little guy who probably weighed about 160#'s, always wore white tights, and looked like right out of high school.

My god, the simple things we remember ..................................
