What are you doing right now??

Up at my normal 4 am and finished my coffee reading another story about the OK Corral. Events of the lead up and courtroom testimony. Sprinkled with reports from the two competing papers. So many years after the incident and so much contradictory information. The courthouse is worth seeing if you like that sort of thing. We like to hit the Crystal Palace for drinks and lunch on weekdays when it isn't so crowded. They have a great taco salad and maybe next week we can have that again.

just finished cleaning/lubing my G-44....took that to the club and a mere 100 rds....sheesh, if i had the time, i woulda took 200.

i hit the targets.....that's all i'll admit to.

now, eating my lunch, following a dessert of a jelly filled donut, maybe even a piece of a gooey brownie....or a blueberry muffin.........hell maybe even both......i walk most mornings, i deserve some calories and a spike in my diabetes.

Sittin on my butt again , maxin and relaxin. been another busy day although i didn't get a lot of wood this morning. when they pushed all of these in a pile they filled em with dirt. dirt around there is like powder. it's bone dry here. dulled two chains in short order. pulled a couple small one out with the winch to even get what i got. he pulled a couple out for me with an excavator, but they were not big and together wasn't bout half a truckload if that much.

I've been home since 3:30. This is a true blue, full blown head cold. It hit very fast though...they usually move through me more slowly. I made me some herbal tea...

Then the mister came home and fed me a shot of tequila. It's amazing how much better I can breathe though my nose!! Happy hour may not be lost on me after all! ;)

I've never heard of such a thing.

The only way we ever get forced to work overtime is if there is an emergency while we are on a job. For instance, a no-gas ( customer has no gas due to the work we are doing for example) means we don't go home until service is restored.
I was going to respond with "I live in Minnesota", but the plant is in North Dakota. We have to work overtime if it is posted. No choice or you get written up for an unexcused absence. too many of those and they will can you.
