I just finally finished the marksmanship course in the Mantis Laser Academy. It’s making a difference. Hoping to get to the range tomorrow, either before my wheel alignment (preferably) or after.

Unfortunately the Laser Academy is dry fire only, but I did find my MantisX and charged it up. I think I told you, when I first got it a couple of years ago, it was pretty buggy. I am going to be off work for a couple of weeks now, as the husband is having a knee replacement, so I am planning to rev that thing up and see what improvements they have done. I am excited to see how it works with live firing. Thanks. I'll keep you posted!

Sorry to hear about your husband's upcoming surgery. In either mode it shows all movement before & after trigger pull. In the live fire mode all of that plus recoil path and recovery. Also in the graphs suggestions are given for numerous corrections in grip, trigger control, etc.Unfortunately the Laser Academy is dry fire only, but I did find my MantisX and charged it up. I could've received the multi-focal lens but the extra $3000 did not fit in my budget. It probably costs a lot more now. My other eye will need cataract surgery someday.

Have been out surveying the damage and removing downed limbs from one bellringer of a storm that blew through here at 0330. We are on generator and probably will remain so for at least 24 hours, there are lines down everywhere.
