The Director of the Secret Service testified, before Congress, that she wanted 30% women in the Secret Service by 2030. She is a DEI hire, and the Secret Service has been compromised. If they wanted Trump dead, he would be dead. They could care less about Trump's safety, so they could care less about him having a competent and properly staffed security detail. The fbi, cia, secret service, department of justice, irs, military, etc. have all been compromised.

The fact citizens on the ground saw the the shooter climb the roof and get into position, while informing law enforcement of what is transpiring, still enabling the shooter to get a shot off unabated to the former President.. let that sink in.

Not gonna happen. They have far too much invested in that narrative to abandon it.
They will argue that it's Trump's fault for being the evil person they portray him to be. They will suggest that somehow he brought it on himself. They will argue that Trump drove this whack job to act in the premeditated fashion he did.
Then they will argue that if guns were banned this wouldn't have happened. They will try to argue that Trump must agree with this because he is a victim of "gun violence". They will ignore the fact that this was an act of political violence perpetrated by someone in one of their constituent groups.
They have chosen to make their stand on this hill. Let the electorate usher them out for good.

Respectfully I have been through a DOJ M/O school and served on CAT teams both with cross country moves with BOP and deputized with the USMS on contegency operations.
I can tell you from experience they are doing an Office of Internal Affairs (OIA) investigation to see if any procedure was violated. Upon those findings if someone violated policy or procedures it can go depending on the disciplinary matrix a letter up to suspension to termination. If the OIA takes the turn of possible criminal wrongdoing it goes then to Office of Inspector General (OIG)
OIG is all business. I have been Mirandized twice by OIG on use of force stuff simply because it started there. I was within agency policy so it went to OIA then was found unsubstantiated so it went away. That’s how that works.
My prediction is (from 20 plus years within DOJ) an Agent up channeled real time (and I haven’t heard the time line from when Agents were made aware and the **** was fired) or even suggested the building be covered before hand etc and a Boss/Supervisor or area director Told them or was told to tell them to pound sand.
And no matter where anyone works how many times have you Harold your boss about something your concerned with her told shut up and collie only for what you warned them on to happen and everything go south! Government is no different.
So when all this is written up you’ll probably see other changes but they won’t make those changes public knowledge.
So we shall see!

There were 3-4 tall guys shielding him on the outside along with the gal grabbing him around the waist.
He was shielded by big guys the whole way to the vehicle.
The so-called "munchkins" were assigned to the vehicle.
All parties did their job at the platform & going to the vehicle.
The break-down was not securing the "line-of-sight" security perimeter, as per the on-going discussions.
